What are the steps?

This requires you to have a rooted Android device.
CoC people have patched the latest CoC Update. Hence you cannot use Custom servers for now with latest update. Read the New steps to get unlimited resources.

• Download the new Custom CoC app from below(updated on 12/11/2014)
• Download and Install Hosts Editor from the Google Play Store or from Here
• Open the app and press the + sign on the top
• In the Hostname field type: gamea.clashofclans.com
• In the IP Address field type a server ip (given below)

Working Server IPs (updated on 11th November)

• 1st Alternate Database(Single server): 172.218.74.58

• 15/10/2014 : Servers are given custom names(beta). Memory leaks and some bugs fixed.
• 21/10/2014 : Multiple servers sharing same database, so that another server can be used, when one is down, and your game progress remains saved, even after changing server.
